Introducing the AUTOBOAT SMART HEAD - combining the best core features of the legacy AUTOBOAT Pro System unit -  a cutting-edge, drop-in marine navigation system designed to deliver auto-pilot GPS features to basic transom-mount Minn Kota & Newport Vessels trolling motors. This Smart Head unit is not only more accurate, but much easier to install and less problematic over time. No more having to worry about room to store the legacy components because all components are now inside a sealed head. Approved Trolling Motor Brands & Sizes:

•     MinnKota Endura C2 12V 30-55lb trolling motors.
•     MinnKota Riptide Series 12V 30-55lb trolling motors.

•     Newport Vessels NV Series 12V 36lb, 46lb & 55lb. (62lb not approved. Use at own risk)
•     Newport Vessels Kayak Series 12V 36lb & 55lb
•     Newport X Series 55lb trolling motor

NOT APPROVED, but will work with retrofitting/ mods:

•     WaterSnake series 12v 30-55lb trolling motors.
•     MinnKota Edge 12V 30-55lb hand control (bracket needed to mount the autodrive system)
•     Other 12 Trolling Motor brands with 1 1/8" shaft (May need retro-fitting that will void the warranty).

NOTE: Using a non-approved trolling motor for your application will void the warranty

NON-COMPATIBLE Trolling Motors:

• Motorguide R & X Series trolling motors
• Old, vintage trolling motors.
• Bow-mount, cable steer trolling motors.
